Don't miss this special event! We are proud to announce the world premiere of a brand new play. For one night only we are performing a staged reading of this exciting and gripping exploration of the complex and tempestuous relationships between Sartre, Simone De Beauvoir and Lena Zonina in the 1960s. The play, based on true events, is a dramatic, dynamic and insightful portrayal of these characters lives and conflicts.

Effie Samara read Law at Reading and Creative Writing at Cambridge. Her first play Baby was performed at the Hope Theatre in March 2015 and received critical acclaim. She is currently under commission to develop 2025, Fragments of a Prophesy, a new play about the politics of separation in Europe.
