The Questors present

Scarborough

by Fiona Evans

Drama of forbidden love

A shabby bed and breakfast in Scarborough: two people arrive for an illicit weekend. But they are afraid to go out. After all, one is a fifteen year old child, the other is their teacher. A weekend that starts with enthusiasm and laughter ends in pain and loss. But who is the more hurt, and who will bear the scars?

And does it make a difference whether the child is a boy or a girl or the teacher is a man or a woman? We are shown it both ways round, and it is up to us to decide. It’s a forbidden relationship, but will we see it the way we expect to?

This is a thought-provoking play that is likely to challenge your preconceptions.
