Role responsibilities
· To develop and maintain a consistent brand identity and tone of voice for the theatre
· To create and deliver audience development strategies for all activities at The Questors
· To line-manage and aid professional development of the Marketing Assistant
· Create and deliver targeted, data-driven multi-channel marketing campaigns for Questors shows, season launches and outreach & participation initiatives.
· Contribute to initiatives to grow The Questors membership.
· Oversee the co-ordination and creation of all print and digital content to meet campaign deadlines.
· Develop digital engagement strategies and ensure its successful execution.
· Maintain financial records in line with the marketing budget and to ensure planned and cost-efficient purchase of marketing assets.
· Work with the Marketing Assistant to define audience targets for direct marketing and e-marketing.
· Oversee digital content creation for all activities at The Questors.
· To work with our show marketing and creative volunteers to develop engaging show imagery
· Use Spektrix and other insight tools to identify, segment and extract target audiences
· Oversee the set up of online ticket sales for shows.
· To work with the Marketing Assistant to develop relationships with local and industry media to promote the theatre’s work
· Work alongside creative teams to produce and distribute print material to support The Questors season of Playhouse and Studio shows.
· Aid in building partnerships with relevant organisations to maximise opportunities for The Questors.
Person specification
Essential
1. Proven experience in marketing and communications
2. Proven history in managing and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
3. Proven history and understanding of email marketing
4. Proven history in meeting sales targets.
5. Proven history of working with marketing budgets.
6. Excellent written communication skills.
7. Experience using social media for marketing a business or organisation with an excellent knowledge in social media management tactics, tools and processes (Buffer, Ad Manager and Creators Studio).
8. Proven experience creating assets with Photoshop and InDesign
9. A thorough understanding of marketing and audience engagement and development.
10. A proven ability to ideate, create and launch creative content.
11. Ability to manage financial records according to marketing budgets.
12. Proven experience of working with CRM systems, CMS, and e-marketing software.
13. An interest in the performing arts.
Desirable
1. Previous experience managing people/a team
2. A good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
3. Proven experience in marketing and communications in the arts.
4. Experience of working with volunteers and members.
5. A knowledge of other programmes in the Adobe Suite (After Effects and Illustrator).
