The Questors Theatre aims to be welcoming and accessible to everyone.

Our site has step-free and wheelchair access for visitors including a lift, accessible toilets, and wheelchair-friendly seating available in both performance spaces.

Wheelchair spaces

Wheelchair spaces are available in both our Judi Dench Playhouse and our Studio. To book a wheelchair space please call the Box Office on 020 8567 0011.

Step-free seating in the Judi Dench Playhouse

When booking seats in our Playhouse, if you require step-free access to your seat, we recommend booking in Row G. Our theatre seating slopes downwards from the entry points at the back of the theatre, so Row A is the lowest seating but can only be accessed via steps down inside the auditorium.

Step-free seating in the Studio

When booking a show in our Studio, please be aware that it is unreserved seating and the seating configuration can change for different shows. To ensure we can provide you with a step-free seat, please contact our Box Office on 020 8567 0011.

Captioned performances

From March 2025, one performance of each of our in-house productions will be captioned. Captioned performances have text displayed on screen on the stage, so that deaf and hard of hearing people read the words as they are spoken or sung. Captions are useful for anyone who would like to read along with the performance, for example if it is not in their native language.

Relaxed performances

For our annual pantomime, we offer a relaxed performance. This means we relax some of our theatre's usual rules to make the experience enjoyable for everyone, especially young children, people with autism, or additional needs. For the relaxed performance:

• People will be allowed to freely enter and exit the auditorium during the show with a dedicated chill out space available
• Doors will be left open and the house lights will be left on
• There will be reduced loud sounds, quieter music, avoidance of strobe lighting

Look out for dates for relaxed performances when our annual pantomime is on sale.

Free carer tickets

If you require a carer to accompany you to a show, we offer these free of charge for Questors in-house productions. Please contact the Box Office and book your companion ticket when booking your accessible seat. If you are booking for a visiting production, please contact our Box Office to find out if carer tickets are available.
