Autumn Beer Festival - 26 to 28 October

The list of beers is slowly emerging, but it's not been easy. The CBOB winners so often seem to be very obscure or very familiar, so we have again had to feature beers that you may have seen in the Grapevine before. Also having to pay over the odds for many of them, so looking like £3.00 a pint/bottle.

Anyway, the following ales have been promised, but I'll believe it when they're all in the cellar (late substitutions - Blue Monkey Infinity not currently brewed, so had to add a second West Berks ale; and now substituted Blackedge Pike for Grey Trees Afghan Pale):
Church End Goat's Milk, 3.8%, Gold Bitter and Overall Gold Champion
West Berkshire Magg's Magnificent Mild, 3.8%, Silver Mild
Fyne Ales Jarl, 3.8%, Silver Golden Ale
Triple fff Alton's Pride, 3.8%, Joint Bronze Bitter
Blackedge Pike, 4.0%, Silver Best Bitter
West Berkshire Good Old Boy, 4.0%, Joint Bronze Best Bitter
Ludlow Gold, 4.2%, Joint Bronze Golden Ale
Tiny Rebel Cwtch, 4.6%, Gold Best Bitter and Overall Bronze
Saltaire Triple Chocoholic, 4.8%, Gold Speciality Beer
Barngates Red Bull Terrier, 4.8%, Silver Strong Bitter

There will also be a draft cider:
Orchard Pig Explorer, 4.5%

and a selection of three different dark ales in bottle:
Yeastie Boys Pot Kettle Black, 6.0%, 33cl
Wiper & True Milk Shake, 5.6%, 33cl
Saltaire Hazelnut Coffee Porter, 4.6%, 50cl

More details to come.
