Want to bring more freedom, vitality and truth to your performance? This is where your body becomes your creative instrument.
Building on the principles of embodied presence explored in Workshop One of this series (but also suitable as a standalone experience), this session focuses on how to express through the body. You’ll explore how character, impulse, emotion and imagination move through your body and being—revealing a deeper range and a more authentic connection to your instincts and unique expression as an actor.
Through guided movement, creative improvisation and dynamic physical theatre tools, we’ll open up your expressive range. You’ll leave feeling freer, more connected, and with new tools to explore embodying story, text and emotion with more confidence and power.
What will I get out of it?
• Greater physical and emotional range in performance
• Tools to express instinctively and truthfully from the body
• More presence, boldness and nuance in character work
• A deeper connection between breath, movement and feeling
• Playful ways to tap into spontaneity, creativity and joy
• Movement practices to unlock stuck energy and access deeper truths
Who is this workshop for?
Suitable for all levels of experience. Whether you’re just starting out or have years of performance behind you, this workshop offers something fresh and valuable.
You might be:
• Curious about how bodily awareness can deepen your acting

• Craving more honesty, spontaneity and connection in your work
No previous movement or acting experience is required—just a willingness to explore. If you have any access

aware of, feel free to get in touch in advance so we can best support
you.
