Join our class where you make portraiture simple and clean. Learn tricks from masters such as Hans Holbein and Frank Helmuth, where we deconstruct the process, one you can translate into other disciplines, even stage design.
Talking of stage design, we’ll be taking what we learn and grouping together to make a colossal face befitting a stage.
Immerse in creativity for an hour with Kasia Krynsk_ at Questors, where you'll learn how to simplify portraiture, key skills to help with any creative profession. This workshop is good for all skill levels, refining and developing.
We will start by playing with the skull and face muscles through shape. Once we have built up our base, we take a peek at Frank Helmuth, posters from the art nouveau era and Hans Holbein, where we will seize inspiration to simplify and efficiently map the face.
You'll be encouraged to individually experiment, make mistakes and mess around, before collectively getting together to construct and curate a face of a looming giant.
You'll be able to take home you're finished works, experiments and skills that you could adapt into simplifying any creative profession you would like to delve into next.
