Cultural Education Partnership

Increasing cultural opportunities for Ealing’s young people

The Questors Theatre is the lead organisation for Ealing’s Cultural Education Partnership (CEP). Thanks to generous funding from John Lyon’s Charity, we are spearheading the initiative to bring culture in all its forms into the lives of young people across the borough.

What is the Ealing CEP?

Cultural Education Partnership(s) are cross-sector, strategic partnerships that work together to improve cultural education for children and young people (0-25yrs) across the seven towns that make up the Borough of Ealing. Partners come together to drive a more joined-up cultural education offer, share resources, and improve the visibility of cultural education.

Our vision for the CEP is a three-stranded approach that includes:

  • Engaging with young people in schools
  • Facilitating work experience and providing careers signposting
  • Taking cultural organisations into communities

What does the CEP do?

The CEP's aim is to make sure every young person has access to good quality cultural and creative experiences. The Borough of Ealing is home to many organisations working in the creative industries ranging from music to art and then from culture to film. Through the CEP we are creating collaborations between schools and education providers and those who can offer their young people rich local artistic and cultural experiences. Our aim is that the Borough of Ealing is a place where all young have access to the richness and diversity of the high quality, vibrant arts and culture programme with a pathway to careers and wider opportunities across the Borough.

How can I get involved?

Schools and teachers

We are growing a network of schools to be members of the CEP. By joining, you would be making an active, effective pledge to better the cultural education of the young people you work with. As a part of the CEP, you will be the first to know about cultural opportunities in the Borough and further afield and encourage young people to get involved. The Cultural Education Partnership is free to join and there are opportunities to access funds for both schools and individual young people. To find out more, attend our free relaunch events on 30 September and 2 October – find details and sign up for our mailing list here: Ealing CEP Relaunch Evening

Cultural Organisations

We are looking for more cultural organisations to join us as CEP partners. As a partner, you will be able to share opportunities to a network of schools in the Borough. Current partners include Pitzhanger Manor, London Transport Museum Depot, Gunnersbury Park Museum, and the University of West London. There is no cost to join and funding may be available for some activities. To sign up as a CEP partner, please complete this form: Ealing CEP Member Sign-Up
