Here you can watch new and popular plays every week. We deliver a full season of professional-quality productions and provide a performance venue for touring theatre companies. Anyone can get involved; become a Questors member and take part in everything from acting and directing to lighting, front of house and stage design. The First Sung-Through Biblical Cantonese Musical in Concert

Inspired by the Old Testament: 1 Samuel 8–3.

First staged in 2005 by playwright Henry Fong and Hong Kong Film Award–winning composer Peter Kam, The Only King shook the stage with multiple sold-out runs and set a new benchmark for Christian musical theatre.

Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, the concert returns with fresh arrangements by renowned artists Johnny Yimand Anthony Chue. The production premieres in London 2026, followed by a Cambridge tour.

Presented in Cantonese with English subtitles, the production tells the powerful biblical story of King Saul and David.
